Barbara has more than 18 years of experience as an attorney working in the area of Family Law, and since 2013, is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction earned by less than five percent of practicing Family Law attorneys in the State.

 

Barbara leverages her expertise and credentials as a Certified Family Law Specialist to provide high-quality legal services to clients facing complex and challenging family issues.  Her practice has included working with high-profile, high-net-worth individuals, C-Suite executives, celebrities and professional athletes.

 

Barbara is committed to finding the best possible solutions for her clients, whether through mediation, negotiation, settlement, or trial. She is a fierce advocate for her clients in and out of the courtroom. A skilled litigator, she is equally adept at brokering peace, with a unique ability to find common ground where others cannot, bringing closure to this most difficult chapter of her clients’ lives.

 

Barbara handles a wide range of family law matters from inception through trial, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation and nullity;  dissolution of domestic partnerships; parentage; child custody and visitation rights; child support; spousal support; property division; move-aways; domestic violence; post-judgment proceedings; as well as drafting and negotiating Prenuptial Agreements, Postmarital Agreements and Marital Settlement Agreements. Barbara also has experience as Minor’s Counsel and in Dependency Court matters.
